Exhibitions Information
& Rental Guidelines
SOPA’s gallery spaces are rented for one-night exhibition &
reception events or on a weekly basis. Artists must present
proposal for exhibition. Members of the SOPA Collective are
eligible to submit proposals.
SOPA Studios will supervise installation of the work. Artist is
responsible for design and printing of invitation and all
promotional materials unless supplemental services are
requested (See services list for pricing).
An opening reception is recommended on one evening in the
first week of the rental period. All costs involved are the
responsibility of the artist. Reception services are also
available upon request.
If SOPA Studios is substantially involved in the sale, a 25%
commission will be collected. Artists are invited to handle
sales directly in which case no commission will be taken.
Exhibition/Event Spaces
Gallery (Available for both one-night event and multi-week
exhibitions)
360 sq ft Exhibition Space with direct street access.
Includes Studio access for sinks/frig/food service only.
Studio (Available for one-night events only)
Variable wall, table and floor spaces for exhibition.
Extends onto open-air drive.
Full Space
Includes full access to Gallery and Studio spaces for purposes
of showing work and accommodating functions of reception
event. HOWEVER, work showing in the studio space would
need to be reassigned to gallery following reception event if
intended run exceeds one-night event. (Private work studios
within the studio room remain inaccessible at all times.)
