| Artist Profiles Mitch Braiman Multi-Media / Photography When the first Hot Wheels car rolled off the assembly line, Mitch was there to catch it. From that point on, his fascination with the style and design of automobiles consumed his life. From painting and drawing, to sculpture and mixed-media, the subject of the automobile seems to drive Mitch’s direction. Mitch is also influenced by images of the past, including vintage photographs, advertisements and the kitsch. He incorporates many of these elements in his works. He is best known black & white line work which he has incorporated into rubber stamp design – some designs have been turned into full-color automotive portraiture in his ink & gouache technique. . |
