Lino Cut Workshop
Three-Week Series with George Ramirez
Wednesdays First 3 Weds Each Month 7-9pm

Suited to all skill levels. Explore the ages-old wood-cut printing
process using the much more pliable media, linoleum block. Each
participant will design, cut and print on archival-quality art paper
(with greeting card fold) suited to framing or card-giving. Great for
artists & non-artists alike wanting to practice basic skills in a media
that has wide applications within artmaking practices. Maximum 8.
Basic Typesetting Demo
One Day Demo Session With George Ramirez

For those interested in incorporating hand-set type in their artwork.
Fine artists have used typesetting to positive effect since this
process was abandoned for commercial purposes in the advent of
modern printing technologies. This demo event offers exposure to
the basic principles of setting type, the use of various type faces,
and intro to printing technique.

Digital Negative Workshop

This 2-session workshop provides basic training on how to prepare
your image for Contact Printing (as with Cyanotype & other
alternative photo processes). Film, print or digital source image is
converted/ prepped for 8x10 Neg production. Topics include:
