It all started when…

Artists in South Pasadena set up workspace studios on Hope Street, steps from South Pasadena’s Mission commercial corridor. Founder Lisa Marsh led the charge, inviting creatives to help build a vision for uplifting art and music created by local talent. When the City of South Pasadena began coordinating regular ArtCrawl events, SOPA became a favorite anchor stop and community space for getting acquainted with artists and their work. The SOPA stage lineups of singer-songwriters, curated by Brad Colerick (Deepmix/Wine & Song) added sugar to the well. Now re-awakening from the long slumber of Covid Quarantine, SOPA re-opens April 30 2022 with a full-day line-up of talent on the SOPA stage in connection with Eclectic Music Festival together with SOPA’s newly-improved gallery with feature exhibit.
